The Cowboys hope tests scheduled today will allow running back DeMarco Murray to return Sunday against the Giants, according to Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas.

Murray wore a protective boot and used crutches this week after suffering a foot injury against the Ravens on Oct. 14.

The Cowboys' running game struggled in a 19-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday, gaining just 85 yards a week after amassing 277 rushing yards against the Ravens. Murray has had success running against the Giants, gaining 131 yards on 20 carries in the Cowboys' season-opening 24-17 win at MetLife Stadium.
