Darko Milicic considering Celtics exit, return to Europe

Darko Milicic could be leaving the Celtics in order to return to his native Serbia and care for his ill mother, according to Adrian Wojnarowski at Yahoo! Sports.

Milicic was signed by the Celtics in the offseason but has not played a much of a role with the team so far despite expectations that he would contribute off the bench. Milicic has not played for the team since opening night.Wojnarowski cites sources that indicate the forward is frustrated with his lack of playing time, and that combined with the health of his mother could be enough to push him out of the NBA.

And once he is gone, it isn't likely that the #2 overall pick in 2003 will ever return to play in the NBA.
