Former teammate of Andrew Bynum says no other NBA player likes basketball less

Sixers All-Star center Andrew Bynum has received criticism for further injuring his knee while bowling, and a former teammate told a SLAM Magazine editor the Sixers center wasn't too keen on basketball, according to CBS Sports.

"I don’t know if that’s true [the bowling], but I do know that I’ve never met another player in the league who likes basketball less [than Bynum]," the former player told SLAM Magazine senior editor Tzvi Twersky.

Bynum, who went to the Sixers as part of the four-team trade that sent Dwight Howard to the Lakers in August, has yet to play in a game this season. The 7-year veteran has had problems in both knees--he received Orthokine therapy injections in September and then later developed a bone bruise that sidetracked the recovery. On Friday, Bynum said that he had suffered another "setback" with his left knee. Later, it was revealed that the "setback" occurred while bowling.

Bynum has since received criticism for going bowling while unable to play or practice with the team, and a former teammate of Andrew Bynum Certain activities such as rock climbing, boxing and riding on mopeds are prohibited in NBA player contracts, but bowling is not one of them.
