Bears coach Lovie Smith is optimistic about his starting quarterback's status for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Jay Cutler suffered a concussion on Nov. 11 against the Texans. The Chicago Tribune's Vaughn McClure tweeted what Smith said about Cutler's status:

The NFL's Adam Schefter added details on what would be necessary for Cutler to start: Cutler's official status for Sunday is "questionable." Jason Campbell started in Cutler's absence and the Bears lost 32-7 to the 49ers. The Bears are currently tied for first with the Packers in the NFC North.
