Steve Blake to miss two more weeks with abdominal strain

The Los Angeles Lakers' issues at point guard won't be getting better as soon as they thought. Having already missed eight games with the injury, Steve Blake tweeted today that he will be out an additional two weeks with an abdominal strain.

Blake was slated to be a solid backup to two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash in the leadup to the Lakers' 2012-2013 season, but the team's nightmare start included both going down with injuries. Los Angeles has filled the void with Darius Morris as the starter and Chris Duhon as the backup, but neither has impressed in the role so far - Morris in particular has struggled, going 0-for-6 in Tuesday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
