The Cincinnati Bengals resurgent run could be hitting a snag. Head coach Marvin Lewis told Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson today that rookie wide receiver Mohamed Sanu could miss the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his left foot.

The loss looms especially large for the Bengals, who have relied on Sanu's increasingly-impressive performances throughout their ongoing three-game win streak. Sanu has caught a touchdown pass in each of the last three games, including two in last week's 34-10 win over the Oakland Raiders. This after the rookie struggled to get on the field through the first six weeks of the season.

Lewis said Sanu will have surgery on Monday.
