ESPN.com's Adam Schefter reported Ravens quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell has been named offensive coordinator:

Cameron's play-calling and approach had come into question during the Ravens' two-game losing streak. The Sun also cited a lack of consistency with the offense and progress by quarterback Joe Flacco as reasons for the change.

The Ravens' inability to control the ball and run the clock contributed to the Redskins' come-from-behind 31-28 overtime win Sunday.

He recently was questioned about the lack of carries for Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice in a 23-20 loss to the Steelers. The Ravens ran just eight plays in the fourth quarter -- none of which involved Rice carrying the ball. Rice avoided criticism of Cameron and the Ravens' game plan in a post-game press conference.
