Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Wizards due to back spasms. Bryant played through the spasms in the Lakers' 117-106 loss to the New York Knicks on Thursday.

Despite back spasms, Bryant played the entire second half of Thursday's game and scored 31 points against the Knicks. He wore a heating pad during timeouts, and shot free throws and jump shots during halftime with the heating pad around his torso. Even playing through the pain, Bryant, the NBA's leading scorer, couldn't do enough to nab a win for the Lakers. The team lost its fourth straight game, falling to a 9-14 record. The Lakers will be looking to get back on track Friday night against the Wizards, a team that currently has the league's worst record at 3-16.
