Several NFL teams to wear decals on helmets to honor shooting victims

The New York Giants will wear a decal on the back of their helmets for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons to honor the memory of the people who lost their lives in a shooting in Newtown, Conn on Friday, reports NFL.com.

Every Giants players will have a decal that has the initials S.H.E.S., which stands for Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The New York Jets and the New England Patriots also will wear various decals on their helmets this weekend.  The Patriots will send up 26 white flares, one at a time for each shooting victim, during a moment of silence before the start of their Sunday night home game against the San Francisco 49ers.
