The New Orleans Hornets have signed journeyman small forward Dominic McGuire, the team announced on Sunday afternoon.

McGuire joins the Hornets having last played for the Toronto Raptors 2 1/2 weeks ago. He signed with the Raptors in the offseason, but was waived on November 30th to make room for the signing for shooting guard Mikael Pietrus. McGuire played in 15 games for the Raptors, starting nine, and averaging just over two points and three rebounds per game. The Hornets will be McGuire's sixth NBA team in as many seasons. The Fresno State product was drafted by the Washington Wizards in 2007 and subsequently played for the Sacramento Kings, Charlotte Bobcats, Golden State Warriors, and the Raptors.
