Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel and GM Scott Pioli have both been informed that they will not be back next season, reports former Kansas City radio host Nick Wright, who has a reputation for breaking Chiefs news.

Pioli has largely foiled an otherwise promising roster by failing in his mission of finding a quarterback. Crennel guided the Chiefs to a 2-1 finish as interim coach in 2011, and it was Pioli's decision to keep him on.

The floundering Chiefs are currently 2-12 and average 13.9 points per game, the worst in the league.
