Report: South Alabama basketball coach Ronnie Arrow retiring immediately

The University of South Alabama called a press conference for 3 p.m. on Wednesday to announce that men's basketball head coach Ronnie Arrow will be retiring, effective immediately. Jeff Price, the associate head coach, will take over as interim coach.

Arrow spent seven season with South Alabama as head coach between 1987 and 1995, leaving with a record of 114-93. He returned in 2007 for a second tenure as head coach.

He retires with a 647-295 career record, and a total of 112 wins in the Sun Belt, making him the all-time leader.
