Kris Humphries out against Celtics in Christmas game with abdominal strain

Nets forward Kris Humphries has a mild abdominal strain and will not play in the Christmas Day game against the Celtics, reports the New York Times's Howard Beck. Humphries will also miss tomorrow's game against the Bucks and then be reevaluated.

Humphries, 27, is averaging 7.1 and 7.4 rebounds in 23.2 minutes per game so far this season. He has played in 25 of the team's 26 games and started in 20 of them.

The Nets (14-12) are one game ahead of the Celtics (13-13) in the Atlantic Division. They trail the Knicks in first place by 5.5 games.
