A deal between former Eagles coach Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs is imminent, according to USA Today.

Reid was scheduled to meet with the Chargers and Cardinals after the Chiefs but has reportedly cancelled those talks.

The Chiefs have yet to confirm anything and declined to comment when asked about Reid joining the team. Reid, 54, coached the Eagles for 14 years (1999-2012) and led the team to an NFC Championship in 2004. The team went 130-93 (.583) under Reid. He was fired on Dec. 31 after the Eagles' 4-12 finish in 2012, the same day Chiefs head coach Ken Whisenhunt was fired. There have been reports that Reid could bring Tom Heckert, the Eagles' former general manager, with him.
