Tiger Woods got a second chance, and Nike CEO Phil Knight might give one to Lance Armstrong too.

Knight said on Jan. 15 that despite severing ties late last year with the now infamous cyclist, people should not rule out the possibility of Armstrong once again being represented by Nike. In October 2012, Knight said that "due to seemingly insurmountable evidence" of Armstrong using PEDs, Nike would end its relationship with him.

The more recent report from TMZ says there could be a reunion in store for the two sides:

Phil was out in DC yesterday when we asked if Lance and Nike might patch things up after the cyclist admitted to using PEDs -- and Phil responded, "Never say never."

Nike never officially parted ways with Woods despite his extra-marital affair that first came to light in 2009, but there were reports that he suffered a 50 percent pay cut from the brand in 2010, according to Forbes.
