The Tennessee Titans are expected to keep running back Chris Johnson on the roster and pay him the guaranteed portion of his contract, reports CBSSports.com.

The report says that the team has yet to tell Johnson that news, but he is set to make $10 million next season in which $9 million of that becomes guaranteed if he is on the team's roster five days after the Super Bowl, which was played Sunday.

Johnson, 27, ran for 1,243 yards and six touchdowns last season and added 36 receptions for 232 yards.  It was his fifth straight season gaining 1,000 or more rushing yards.
