Report: Knicks-Clippers Sunday game in doubt due to blizzard

The New York Knicks may have to deal with yet another weather-related cancellation to a game this season,  according to a report in the New York Post.

The Knicks will need to make it back to the Big Apple in time for Sunday's 1 p.m. matchup against the Clippers, but the blizzard currently working its way across the upper east coast could ruin those place. Heavy snowfall is expected in much of the New York area throughout Friday and going into Saturday, and many flights to and from the city have already been cancelled.

The Knicks currently in Minnesota to play the Timberwolves, and the Post reports the team is likely to stay in Minneapolis overnight instead of flying straight home after the game as usual.

But even if the Knicks somehow make it to New York, the Clippers may have travel problems of their own as well. The team plays the Heat in Miami Friday night and will also have to find a way to New York in order to play the game.
