Free agent defensive tackle Chris Canty has visited with the Tennessee Titans and will have another meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs in the near future, according to a report from Mike Garofolo at USA Today.
Garfolo also reports that Canty will likely meet with more teams after the Chiefs.
Canty was cut by the New York Giants in a salary cap move on February 6th, with the team due to owe the player $6.5 million in 2013 had he stayed on the roster. Canty, 30, won Super Bowl XLVI with the Giants in 2012 but missed a large chunk of the 2012-2013 season with a sprained MCL.
Even with the injury absence, Canty recorded three sacks and 26 total tackles in nine games.
