The re-signing of Michael Vick on Monday and signing of Dennis Dixon on Thursday has made the Eagles' quarterback situation a bit crowded under new head coach Chip Kelly. According to a USA Today report, the Chiefs would be interested in taking Nick Foles off the Eagles' hands.

Foles passed for 1,699 yards, six touchdowns and threw five interceptions in seven games during his rookie season for then-Eagles coach Andy Reid, who has since been fired and hired by the Chiefs. He does not possess the running abilities of Vick and Dixon in a new Eagles offense that could mimic Kelly's dual-threat duties at Oregon.

The Eagles reportedly have not informed the Chiefs that Foles is available after Kelly said he would compete with Vick for the starting quarterback job.
