Report: Eagles come to terms with QB Dennis Dixon
The Eagles have reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with quarterback Dennis Dixon, reports Albert Breer. Dixon, 28, played for Eagles coach Chip Kelly at Oregon and was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round (156th overall) of the 2008 draft.
Dixon played in four games with the Steelers from 2008 to 2010. He tore his meniscus at the beginning of the 2010 season and was placed on Injured Reserve. The Ravens signed Dixon to their practice squad in 2012 but he did not appear in a regular season game.
Dixon also spent time playing pro baseball for minor league affiliates of the Braves in 2007.https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/302145635535187968
