Andrew Bynum believes he will practice for Sixers in 1-2 weeks

Andrew Bynum has yet to make his debut for the Philadelphia 76ers but at least according to him, that date could soon be coming.

Bynum, who has been dealing with knee injuries throughout his career, said to the media on Tuesday that he will practice in a week or two and that at this point, playing through the pain won't exacerbate his knee issues. He said he is 100 percent sure he will play this season, which would come as welcome news to the Sixers; the team currently sits in ninth place in the Eastern Conference,  on the playoff bubble with the second half of the season now underway.

Bynum has not practiced with the team at any point this season. He suffered a setback in November when he hurt his knee while bowling and Sixers general manager Tony DiLeo admitted that the condition of his knees has worsened since the trade last summer that sent him packing from the Los Angeles Lakers.
