The Brooklyn Nets will take on the Houston Rockets tonight without the services of second leading scorer Joe Johnson. According to a tweet from Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Johnson will sit out Friday night's game with plantar fasciitis.
Johnson has been dealing with the condition for much of this season, but it flared up again after Wednesday's 97-94 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Johnson only had eight points on 3-14 shooting in that game, but was instrumental in the Nets' previous game against the Bucks the day before. Johnson is averaging 17 points per game in 55 outings this season with the Nets.
