Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will make his season debut tonight at on the road against the Detroit Pistons, reports the Indianapolis Star.

Granger has missed the entire season because of left knee soreness, even though he played in two preseason games. Numerous reports say Granger will come off the bench tonight.

The Pacers are second in the Eastern Conference behind the Miami Heat at 34-21. Granger's presence should improve an already outstanding defensive team. The Pacers only give up 95.4 points per 100 possessions.

Granger averaged 18.7 points a game in 62 games last season.
