Tony Parker sustained an arm injury on Thursday's game against the Clippers, when an inadvertent elbow from Chris Paul hit Parker just above his right elbow. Parker didn't tell Popovich about his sore arm, and played through the pain on Friday against the Golden State Warriors.

“He was a little too much in hero mode,” Popovich said. “He really wasn’t forthcoming. We didn’t realize it until about halfway through the game when he didn’t shoot any (perimeter) shots. I would have sat him in that game.”

Parker admitted to withholding information about his injury from Popovich, and the coach sat Parker on Sunday night. Parker expects to be able to play Wednesday against the Suns.

“That will be five days for it to heal,” Parker said. “I should be fine.”
