LeBron James hopes to play tonight against T'Wolves

LeBron James (knee) is expected to play tonight against the Minnesota Timerwolves, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

James appeared to land awkwardly on his knee attempting to catch a lob pass in the third quarter of Sunday’s 99-93 win over the New York Knicks. The Heat erased a 14-point halftime deficit to upend the Knicks for the first time this season.

James scored 29 points to go with 11 rebounds and seven assist to tie the Miami Heat franchise record of 14 consecutive wins. Miami will look to set the franchise record tonight in Minnesota.

"I was able to finish the game strong but things are always a little worse the next day," James said. "We've got to fly to Minnesota, but I believe I'll be in the lineup [Monday], though."
