The Indianapolis Colts signed safety LaRon Landry to a four-year deal on Wednesday, reports CBSSports.com.

Landry will get $24 million over the course of the contract, including $14 million guaranteed. The San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions were reportedly interested in Landry.

Landry spent last season with the New York Jets where he tallied 75 tackles, assisted on 24 more, forced four fumbles, picked off two passes and made the Pro Bowl for the first time. He spent the first five seasons of his career with the Washington Redskins.
