Report: Matt Cassel agrees to terms with Vikings

Matt Cassel, who was cut by the Chiefs Thursday morning, has agreed to terms with the Vikings, as first reported by Jay Glazer.

Cassel had been linked to the Vikings since it became apparent that the Chiefs would cut him with two years left on his contract. He was scheduled to make a base salary of $7.5 million with the Chiefs this season.
