Defensive end Matt Shaughnessy has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals after visiting with the team on Thursday. One of the better defensive ends remaining in free agency, Shaughnessy can play both end and tackle in a 4-3. He has 15.5 career sacks over four seasons. Details about the deal are not yet known.

Shaughnessy was drafted in 2009 by the Oakland Raiders and played all 16 games in 2009 and 2010. His 2011 season was cut short due to a Week 3 injury against the Jets. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/312655376292118531
