Pau Gasol is on track to join Kobe Bryant in returning to the Los Angeles Lakers' lineup Friday against the Washington Wizards, according to coach Mike D'Antoni.

Gasol participated in a scrimmage Wednesday, the first time he's practiced full-court during his recovery from a torn plantar fascia suffered in February.

D'Antoni said Gasol still must see how his foot reacts after Wednesday's practice before deciding if he plays Friday.

Bryant is also expected back after resting his badly sprained ankle, giving D'Antoni optimism that the Lakers can make a playoff run beginning with the Wizards at home and an ensuing four-game road trip to Golden State, Minnesota, Milwaukee and Sacramento.

"When they're all 100 percent, I think it can work," D'Antoni said, noting that Steve Nash, Dwight Howard and Gasol have all been limited physically this season.
