After signing a big free agent deal last offseason, Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright may have played his last down with them.

Profootballtalk.com reports that the team is trying to trade Wright only after one season.

Wright was suspended for four games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy last season and had his grievance about his guaranteed salary denied. He lost $1.7 million in game checks during the four-game ban.

Wright is due to make $7.75 million in 2013, and that salary is no longer guaranteed due to that suspension.  The team could also cut him and go after another cornerback via free agency or a trade.
