Los Angeles Lakers reserve forward Antawn Jamison has a slight tear in his right wrist which he suffered during Friday's 103-100 loss to the Washington Wizards, reports ESPN.com.

The injury appeared to happen when Jamison attempted a dunk with a few minutes left in the third quarter. The shot was blocked by the Wizards forward Kevin Seraphin.

Jamison finished the game with 11 points and seven rebounds against the Wizards and did not play in the fourth quarter.

Jamison is averaging 9.2 points and 4.7 rebounds this season for the Lakers, who are 36-34 and hold a 1 1/2 game lead over the Utah Jazz for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The timing of Jamison's injury speaks to the revolving-door nature of the Lakers' roster this season as it happened the same night Pau Gasol returned to the lineup after missing 20 straight games because of a torn plantar fascia in his right foot. Gasol finished with four points on 2-of-10 shooting and eight rebounds in 21 minutes.
