UCLA releases statement denying report Ben Howland has been fired

A Yahoo! Sports report Saturday night stated UCLA had informed head basketball coach Ben Howland he was fired.

But the school is now denying it.

It could just mean Yahoo! Sports beat UCLA to the punch, however.
