Report: LG Kevin Boothe signs back with New York Giants

The New York Giants have been saying that re-signing Kevin Boothe is a priority. The cap-strapped Giants had to get creative to make it happen, but were able to bring back Boothe on a one-year deal.

As a free agent, Boothe had been talking to several teams, including the Panthers, Jets and Cardinals. The Giants don't have a good in-house replacement for the guard, who graded out above-average as a run blocker.

After being drafted in the sixth round of the draft in 2006 by the Oakland Raiders, Boothe spent 2007-2012 with the Giants. Boothe started 16 games in 2012. Full details about Boothe's deal with the Giants are not yet known.
