Report: Kevin Garnett doubtful for Tuesday, Courtney Lee probable

Boston Celtics' head coach Doc Rivers says Kevin Garnett is doubtful to play Tuesday, while Courtney Lee is probable, per The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn. Garnett has been struggling with an ankle injury that worsened and kept him out of the Celtics' Saturday game against the Grizzlies.

He missed two games with a strained adductor muscle and the flu, but returned last Wednesday and scored 20 points against the Hornets.

Now a new injury kept him out Saturday and will likely keep him out Tuesday, too. Garnett is awaiting MRI results to see what's wrong with his left ankle. The Celtics are still waiting for Garnett's MRI results, but he could miss up to 4-5 games.

Courtney Lee was also slated to get an MRI after suffering a mild ankle sprain on Friday. Rivers listing Lee as probable means the MRI most likely came back clear.
