Kevin Love still not cleared for contact, likely out for the season

The Timberwolves PR announced Kevin Love is still not cleared for contact, following a re-evaluation. He went three weeks without visiting a doctor, during which time he admitted he might not be better in time to play. Without clearance this late in the season, Love will almost certainly be out for the remainder of the season.

He's had hand troubles throughout 2013, with only 18 game appearances all season. He will benefit from an extended recovery period and, barring any major setbacks, Love will be 100 percent before the start of next season.
