Report: Darrelle Revis not optimistic about deal with Bucs

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis said he is not optimistic about a deal being completed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport. Rapoport states that Revis wants to stay with the New York Jets but it is unlikely the team will meet Revis' contract demands.

Revis can opt out of his current deal and become an unrestricted free agent after the 2013 season. The Bucs are reportedly bullish on surrendering their 13th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft in a trade for Revis.

The six-year cornerback has recorded 19 interceptions and 241 tackles over his career with the New York Jets.
