New York Yankees turn triple play against Baltimore Orioles

The New York Yankees turned a triple play against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night. With the Orioles trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Manny Machado grounded into a 4-6-5-6-5-3-4 triple play to end the inning.

The Yankees last turned a triple play in 2010 against the Oakland Athletics. CC Sabathia was on the mound for the last two Yankee triple plays. The triple play turned on Friday night was the third one the Yankees have turned since 1968.
