The National Hockey League rescheduled the postponed game between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins,  for Sunday, April 28, at Boston's TD Garden, the league announced.

The game had originally been scheduled for Monday night, but hours before the game two bombs went off near the finale of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 150. The new game will tip off  the 28th at 7 p.m. ET.

The NHL and the the Bruins organization made the decision to postpone the game last night following the day's events. The league's shortened 48-game regular season schedule was to wrap up on April 27th and the Stanley Cup Playoffs were set to begin on April 30th.
