Report: Robinson Cano associate on Biogenesis list

The spokeswoman for New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano's foundation is listed as having been a client of the South Florida Biogenesis clinic last summer, reports ESPN.com.
Sonia Cruz says she has never received anything from the clinic and saying Cano "definitely never did."
Major League Baseball has a Biogenesis client roster that lists Cruz, and continues its investigation of whether Cano and other major league players had any relationship to the clinic.
Documents obtained by ESPN.com list Cruz as owing $300 to the clinic in both July and August 2012. Those records indicate that she paid the balance in full in July, but the August records do not mention any payment.

Cruz, 31, says she was never a client of the Miami-area clinic at the heart of an ongoing performance-enhancing drug scandal.
