Former LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu is rethinking his "first round draft party".

Earlier Wednesday, someone promoting the 2013 NFL Draft Party featuring first round draft pick Tyrann Mathieu hit the web, and by mid-afternoon, the "Honey Badger" was backpedaling from that party like a good cornerback should.

He later tweeted out a response that said he was not associated with the party.  But the tweet came from his official Twitter account.

"No, it's crazy. I don't understand it. It was a miscommunication, that's all. ... I never signed off on the party," Mathieu said to reporters at the NFL Draft party on Wednesday night. "I expect to go in the first round, yes I do. I think I'm a first round talent. But I think l'll fall to the second."

He has not shown up in any of the draft experts mock drafts as a first-round talent, and is expected to be a second or third rounder. https://twitter.com/Mathieu_Era/status/327178970787352577
