Jets trade fourth-round pick to Saints for RB Chris Ivory
The New York Jets traded their 2013 fourth-round pick to the New Orleans Saints for running back Chris Ivory, according to multiple reports. The Saints received the 106th overall pick in exchange for Ivory.
The Jets' addition of Ivory follows the 39th overall selection of West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith.
In six games with the Saints last season, Ivory rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns with an average carry of 5.4 yards. The Jets offense was one of the worst in the NFL last season. The Jets offense ranked last in yards-per-game (299.2 yards), last in passing yards-per-game (18o.7 yards) and 28th in points-per-game (17.6 points).
