Kirk Hinrich out Game 5, possibly more

After the Chicago Bulls' triple-overtime win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich is in a walking boot with what Tom Thibodeau called a "bruise." Hinrich himself called it "pretty bad," and currently can't place any weight on his leg. Although the MRI revealed no tear, he could be out for the rest of the week.

Hinrich has been battling a series of injuries all season, so it's no surprise he's injured after a 60-minute performance on Sunday. He's definitely out for Game 5 on Monday night, and with no timetable for his return, it could be more.

While the Bulls have a 3-1 series lead against the Nets, Chicago can't afford to lose Hinrich for an extended period of time. Nate Robinson will fill in at point guard in the meantime, with Marco Belinelli, Rip Hamilton and Jimmy Butler taking more time at shooting guard.
