Jay-Z is reportedly interested in signing Brazilian soccer player Neymar of Santos.

According to Yahoo! Sports, citing a report Tuesday from Spanish newspaper Sport, Neymar, who was rated by SportsPro magazine as the most marketable athlete in the world in 2010, is now one of the top priorities for Jay-Z.

The idea behind the signing is to feature Neymar, 21, in a segment "focused on sports and the idea of its creators is to transform players into real stars with global impact and visibility," according to the Spanish newspaper.

Jay-Z recently sold off his shares with the Brooklyn Nets to focus primarily on the Roc Nation sports agency that he launched earlier this year. Since his official foray into the agency side, Jay-Z has landed a number of pro athletes including New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano and New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.
