The Blue Jackets' Sergei Bobrovsky, the Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist and the Sharks' Antti Niemi are finalists for the Vezina Trophy - given annually to the NHL's top goalie -- the league announced Wednesday.

Lundqvist is the reigning Vezina Trophy winner, and he posted another strong season for New York. He tied -- with Niemi and Minnesota's Niklas Backstrom - for the league lead with 24 wins. He led the Rangers to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Martin Brodeur was the last goalie to win the award in consecutive seasons.

Niemi's resume looks similar to Lundqvist's -- with the same number of wins and similar team success. San Jose finished as the sixth seed in the Western Conference. Lundqvist's goals against averaged (2.05) and save percentage (.926) were slightly better than Niemi's (2.16 and .924).
