Troy Tulowitzki will be back in the lineup for the Rockies on Thursday afternoon as they take on the Yankees, reports Thomas Harding. Tulowitzki has been out since Sunday after experiencing tightness in his leg.
The Rockies considered bringing him back before Wednesday night's game but opted to play it safe due to wet playing conditions.
The 28-year-old shortstop is hitting .348/.440/.663 in 29 games this season and is second in the NL in both batting average and OPS. He has seven home runs and 28 RBIs. Tulowitzki missed most of last season with a groin injury that required surgery.
