Tampa Bay Rays left-handed pitcher David Price left Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox with tightness in his triceps, the team announced.

Rays manager Joel Maddon said after the Rays' 9-2 loss that an MRI taken after the game showed "nothing serious," but Price is expected to miss at least one start.

Price left the game in the top of the third inning after giving up a one-out RBI single to David Ortiz, which made the score 2-0.  Price went 2 1/3 innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out one.

He was replaced by Jamey Wright, who immediately gave up an RBI double to Mike Napoli, a run-scoring single to Jonny Gomes and a grand slam to Stephen Drew.
