Houston senior running back Charles Sims will transfer from the school, reports Rivals.com.

Sims led the Cougars with 851 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns and caught 37 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns last season.

Sims also led all 2013 Big East players with 136 all-purpose yards per game in 2012. He decided to bypass the NFL Draft by announcing in January that he was returning to school.  He missed three full games and the second half of three other games with injuries last season.

He has 158 career receptions, which is currently 10th on Houston’s career receptions chart.
