Report: Cavaliers considering selecting Otto Porter Jr. with first pick

The Cleveland Cavaliers are considering selecting Georgetown's Otto Porter Jr. with the first overall pick, the Washington Post reported on Thursday. According to the report, the Wizards are hoping the small forward will drop to the third pick to complement Bradley Beal and point guard John Wall.

The Cavaliers have reportedly been open to trading their No. 1 pick in 2013. Cavaliers general manager Chris Grant said the best course for the team might be to trade the pick to add to the roster. Grant said he wanted to keep "all options open" and that the first pick is an "asset."

The six-foot-eight forward from Georgetown averaged 16.2 points-per-game with 7.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in his sophomore season.
