Arian Foster was carter off the field with a calf injury during the Texans' practice on Tuesday, according to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain. In a follow-up tweet, McClain said coach Gary Kubiak confirmed that the running back had suffered a strained calf muscle.

Foster, 26, was signed by the Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and holds franchise records for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. The three-time Pro Bowler rushed for 1,424 yards last season and had 17 total touchdowns (15 rushing, two receiving).
