The Rangers announced Tuesday that every resident of West, Texas and first responders associated with the devastating April 17 explosion will be invited to attend the team's July 6 game against the Astros.

The Rangers expect almost 1,000 residents to take part in City of West Night, a salute that will include the town's maor throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, on-field honors, and a moment of silence for the 15 fatalities that resulted from the explosion of a fertilizer plant in the small town. Rangers players will wear a Support West patch on the right sleeves of their jerseys during the game.
